Our Podcast: How to Get Your Member Benefits

Wir haben heute eine kleine Ankündigung für euch und zwar auf Deutsch.

So we have a quick announcement for you and we're doing it in German and in English.

Genau auf Deutsch und auf Englisch. Ich werde zunächst auf Deutsch erklären und dann wird Manuel das nochmal auf Englisch wiederholen, denn wir wollen sichergehen, dass alle verstehen, worum es geht.

So Cari will quickly explain everything in German and then I will repeat in English, just to make sure everybody understands, because this is a little technical.

Ihr bekommt jetzt diese Nachricht oder hört diese Nachricht, weil wir unseren Podcast gestartet haben im Oktober in diesem Jahr 2019, haben wir unseren Podcast angefangen. Ein wöchentlicher Podcast von Easy German für euch und wir haben auch einen Mitglieder-Bereich für Menschen, die diesen Podcast unterstützen möchten. Das heißt, die ersten drei Episoden waren noch frei zugänglich für alle. Die nächsten Episoden werden auch umsonst sein, allerdings ohne unsere Vokabelhilfe und unser Transkript. Das bekommt nämlich jetzt ihr Mitglieder. Das heißt, wenn ihr euch angemeldet habt als Mitglied für unseren Podcast, dann spendet ihr uns jede Woche zwei Dollar für diesen Podcast und bekommt als Dankeschön unser Transkript und die Vokabelhilfe sowie eine Wortliste, das ist also die Vokabelhilfe nochmal als Vokabelliste ausgedruckt. Das alles bekommt ihr als Dankeschön. Und wir möchten euch jetzt kurz erklären, wie ihr als Mitglied auf diese Extras zugreifen könnt. Und zwar ist es so, dass ihr eine E-Mail bekommt mit einem individuellen Link. Und zwar wird es einen öffentlichen Podcast geben ohne diese Vokabelhilfe, den kann man also einfach hören in jeder Podcast-App und jeder der ein Mitglied ist, der bekommt einen individuellen Link mit dem er sich anmelden kann für unseren geheimen Podcast. Da bekommt ihr also die ganzen Extras. Und wie ihr diesen individuellen Link bekommt und den in eurer Podcast-App einfügt, das könnt ihr alles lesen und zwar auf easygerman.fm/patreon. Diese Seite hat Manuel extra für euch gemacht, damit er alle Fragen ganz einfach beantwortet. Guckt euch das mal an! Ja, wenn ihr also jetzt schon ein Mitglied seid, dann seht ihr jetzt auch schon die ganzen Episoden in eurem privaten Feed. Wenn ihr noch kein Zwei-Dollar-Mitglied seid, wenn ihr zum Beispiel ein, ja, ein Basis-Mitglied seid von Easy German, dann könnt ihr aber auch jederzeit wechseln und bekommt dann die Episoden immer zugeschickt, beziehungsweise automatisch aktualisiert. Das ist nämlich das Gute: Ihr müsst euch zwar einmal anmelden, aber nur einmal und danach bekommt ihr jede Woche automatisch immer den neuesten Podcast mit der Vokabelhilfe, und dem Transkript direkt auf eure Lieblings-Podcast-App. Ja, das war eigentlich auch schon alles. Das Transkript und die Vokabelhilfe könnt ihr also direkt in eurer Podcast-App sehen, ihr könnt auf die Show Notes klicken, dort bekommt ihr das ganze Transkript und könnt das also auch mitlesen, wenn ihr möchtet, oder ihr benutzt nur die Vokabelhilfe, wenn ihr gerade am Laufen seid oder am Putzen und nur einzelne Wörter nachgucken möchtet. I will quickly repeat in English, just to make sure everybody's questions are hopefully answered preemptively. So this announcement is to, number one, let you know that we're doing a podcast, although most of you have already found out, we're starting this podcast or we have already started this podcast. It's October of 2019. And the podcast is and will be free, just like our videos, but just like with the videos, we have some extra features that we will make available for those of you who support us on Patreon and we have a new podcast tier on Patreon, which is $2 U.S. per week, so if you are willing to support us with $2 per week, then you'll receive access to these podcast features, which are: A full transcript of every episode, so you can read while you listen. Our vocabulary helper, where you can just pull out your phone while you listen at any point and look at the most important words and their translations and also a word list with the translations, in case you want to catch up on the vocabulary later and not while you listen. So all of you who are already in the $2 tier or above already have access to all these things and everybody else, you can obviously easily upgrade and switch to the $2 tier if you're interested in these things. And the way it works is that you've already received an email with an individual link, an individual RSS link that you need to add to your podcast app. And we've created a website where we explain how this works exactly with the different apps. And the link is easygerman.fm/patreon and we'll walk you through exactly the steps that you need to take in order to do this. This is something that you only need to do once and then once you've set it up in your podcast app, you just automatically receive the new episode every week and have access to the vocabulary helper and also the transcript right in the podcast app, right in the show notes every week.
